Me and Dad - Rochester International Airport
Dear Fellow Primary Caregiver,
For years, I thought I understood caregiving. As an investment banker, I advised owners of home care companies, and as an owner myself, I built a company dedicated to helping families care for the people they love.
Then my dad needed care.
My siblings and I began noticing changes at different times. For me, it started when my dad would call several times in a row and then ask whether I had called him. Living nearly 3,000 miles away, I initially dismissed it. Then my mom began calling too, and eventually we faced the reality that my dad needed around-the-clock care and supervision.
That experience changed how I view caregiving—and Entrust Senior Care.
I learned that caregiving isn't simply about completing tasks. It's about preserving someone's dignity, giving families peace of mind, and being there when they need you most.
When we send a caregiver into someone's home, we're not simply filling a shift. A family is entrusting us with someone they love. I don't take that responsibility lightly.
If someone you love needs care, you don't have to navigate this journey alone. I've now sat on both sides—as a home care owner and as a son trying to make the right decisions for his dad.
That's the experience and compassion behind Entrust Senior Care.
With gratitude,
